As we are therapists and exhibitors ourselves, we are all to aware of how important it is to get yourself out there advertising yourself, your company or your courses and products to the general pubic. We were finding that we were attending events ourselves which were poorly attended and set about looking into why this was. There are various reasons as to why there is sometimes a low attendance at events but the main one appeared to have been lack of advertising and a possible lack of thought as to position of the event and a local knowledge etc. We became disillusioned with these facts and set about firstly investigating our clientele, local needs, ways to optimise passing trade and advertising both locally and on the web.
Advertising We believe that advertising is one of the major keys to a successful event. Therefore we aim to embark on a high energy advertising campaign which would include advertising in the local press which sends out three different papers in all the surrounding areas. These would include the two surrounding areas within Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire in both the paid for and free press. We also advertise in holistic magazines, local village rags, village centres, local shops, local charities and local area leaflet drops. You will also find us on various websites such as Stall Finder, Where can we go, Holistic pages, Healthy pages, Spirit Walker Community Site and the local Radio website. We also work closely with other Event organisers to support and promote each other. On the day we will have stake boards positioned at intervals leading up to the event from various directions as well as an A board outside the event with balloons to attract the attention of passing trade.
Venues We spent a great deal of time finding just the right venue as we felt this was another important issue. Our venues are easily accessibly, wheelchair friendly and have parking facilities both at the venue and at a nearby local garden centre. There will be FREE tea, coffee and fruit juice for both exhibitors and visitors. Cakes, sandwiches and other refreshments are also available at an extra cost. Our favourite is the Village Hall at West Wycombe as it is in a prime position to attract passing trade as it's on the Main A40. We position posters, poster stakes and an A board with balloons attached to attract opportunistic passing trade.
Stand Prices
Electricity If you require electricity, please indicate this on the booking form and please bring your own extension multiplug as you may be required to share a socket. There is no extra charge for electricity, but we do need to know in advance to enable us to position you in a suitable place to avoid health and safety issues.
Trading and Opening Hours
Stall and Exhibitor Skill Mix We believe that a successful event has a good mix of both therapists and stalls. We also want both you and our visitors to get the best value for money. We therefore limit the amount of stall types to provide a good variety for our visitors and ensure that you are not competing with a room full of people offering similar products or services as yourself.
How to Book Please either ring us direct or use the contact us form below. We will then send you a booking form by email. We expect payment in full with the return of your booking form. Payment is accepted by cheque, postal order or by bank transfer. Your stall will not be confirmed until payment is received. Once payment is received, we will send you a receipt of payment along with a floor plan and directions on how to get to the venue. NB We reserve the right to change the floor plan without prior consultation if necessary.
